PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for washing an aquaculture basket of scallops having high effect of removing foreign materials of the aquaculture basket without having an adverse effect on shellfish, since the installation to a small craft is easy because of small and light configuration, and the pressurized water may not directly hit the scallops in the aquaculture basket.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an apparatus for washing an aquaculture basket for use in the aquaculture of shellfish. The apparatus is characterized by including: a body a flow path of the pressurized water and a head connected to the body by a rotating shaft, rotated around the rotating shaft by power from a power source, and having a nozzle for injecting the pressurized water from the flow path and forming the pressurized water flow. The head rotates around the rotating shaft at a predetermined angle range so that the pressurized water flow injected from the nozzle may hit each of the aquaculture basket holding a three-dimensional shape, while crossing between width direction end of the aquaculture basket.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
