The present invention relates to a novel lactobacillus strain isolated from kimchi and a composition containing the same. The lactobacillus and a culture product thereof has a wide range of growth inhibitory activities against harmful bacteria causing skin troubles such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Propionibacterium acnes. Therefore, the composition containing the lactobacillus can be used for producing compositions for preventing and ameliorating skin trouble.본 발명은 김치에서 분리한 신규한 유산균 균주 및 이를 포함하는 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 유산균 및 이것의 배양물은 스타필로코커스 아우레우스 (Staphylococcus aureus), 스타필로코커스 에피더미디스 (Staphlococcusepidermidis) 및 프로피오니박테리움 애크니스 (Propionicbacteriumacnes)를 포함하는 피부트러블의 원인이 되는 유해균에 대해 광범위한 생육 억제 활성을 갖는다. 따라서 본 발명의 유산균을 포함하는 조성물을 피부트러블 예방 및 개선을 위한 조성물의 제조에 이용될 수 있다.
