A pharmaceutical composition according to Claim. 1 which contains no more than about 1.0%, preferably not more than 0.8% by weight, most preferably less than 0.5% by weight triptane N-oxide after the pharmaceutical composition is subjected to accelerated stability test (15 days of storage at 60 ° C) .5. A pharmaceutical composition according to claim 1, wherein the ratio of the reducing agent comprising a thiol group, a triptan is not more than 2:. 1, in particular not more than 1: 1, preferably not more than 0.5: 1, and most preferably not more than 0.1: 1.6.
