PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stair lift capable of improving turning performance in traveling on a flat road while maintaining stable lifting performance as a stair lift.SOLUTION: The stair lift has a structure in which a fulcrum 42A of a pivotal shaft 42 of a seat supporting frame 4 for supporting a seat 2 is supported at substantially the center of a ground contact portion of a belt crawler, and when a body 1 is at a horizontal state, the center in a width direction of the body 1 of the pivotal shaft 42 comes in a vertical direction from the center of composite barycenter of the body 1 including an occupant.【課題】階段昇降機としての安定した昇降性能を維持しつつ、平地走行における旋回性能を向上させることを可能にする階段昇降機を提供する。【解決手段】座席２を指示する座席用支持フレーム４の枢支軸４２の支点４２Ａをベルトクローラの接地部のほぼ中央で支持すると共に、機体１を水平状態にした際に、搭乗者を含む機体１の合成重心からの鉛直方向に上記枢支軸４２の機体１の幅方向における中心がくる構成とした。【選択図】図２
