Process for obtaining ethyl acetate and matanol fractions and antimalarial use. The present invention describes the process for obtaining portulaca pilosa ethyl acetate and methanolic fractions, popularly termed "amorphous". The extract and fractions presented were tested and showed antiplasmodic activity, particularly against chloroquine-resistant plasmodium falciparum (w2) and could be used to treat malaria.Processo de obtenção de frações acetato de etila e matanólica e uso antimalárico. A presente invenção descreve o processo para obtenção de frações acetato de etila e metanólica de portulaca pilosa, popularmente denominada "amorcrescido". O extrato e frações apresentados foram ensaiados e mostraram atividade antiplasmódica, particularmente contra plasmodium falciparum resistente à cloroquina (w2), podendo ser utilizado no tratamento da malária.
