To provide a method for reducing phytotoxicity to turfgrass due to flazasulfuron, which is not expensive but easily available and simple in the field of horticulture/agriculture.Phytotoxicity to turfgrass due to flazasulfuron is reduced by using a pigment containing metal ions or a colorant comprising the pigment containing metal ions, particularly by using a phthalocyanine metal complex or a cyano-bridged metal complex.
