PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic device comprises: multiple conversion parts multiple interpolation filters a phasing addition part and a control part. The conversion parts are respectively arranged for multiple reception channels, sample analog reception signals of corresponding reception channels and convert them into digital signals. The interpolation filters are respectively arranged behind the conversion parts, and output the digital signals after performing interpolation between sample points of the digital signals output by the conversion parts before them. The phasing addition part is arranged behind the interpolation filters and performs phasing addition of the input digital signals. The control part determines whether to perform or avoid interpolation processing using the interpolation filters, in accordance with a frequency band of a transmitted ultrasound, and when performing the interpolation processing, it inputs the digital signals respectively output by the interpolation filters into the phasing addition part however, when avoiding the interpolation processing, it inputs the digital signals respectively output by the conversion parts into the phasing addition part.
