Provided are growth hormone-releasing hormone(GHRH) gene polymorphisms significantly related with carcass traits of Bos taurus coreanae such as carcass weight(CW), longissimus muscle area(EMA) and marbling score(MS) and breeding values(BV). The growth hormone-releasing hormone gene polymorphism predicts carcass traits of Korean native cattle and includes GHRH-4241A>T, +2279C>T, or GHRH-4241A>T, +2279C>T and ht4. The GHRH-4241A>T is significantly associated with EMA, the +2279C>T is significantly associated with CW, EMA and MS, and the ht4 is significantly associated with CW and EMA.
