Harness for thoracic support with double action (immobilization and support) to be used after sternotomy/thoracotomy. It consists of two main support straps (1) with diferent elasticity areas: one immobilization area (7), non-elastic and one area of constant support (6), elastic, in the middle of the former non-elastic, adjustable in terms of intensity of thoracic support via velcro stickers (5) that can be isolated via two handles (3), on each main support strap (1). The harness is placed around the thorax of the patient and offers permanent adjustable support in normal conditions. In cases of heavy cough or flegms, the patient immobilizes completely his thorax by pulling the handles at the two ends of the non-elastic area of the harness. The advantage of this invention is that it fully covers the needs of the patient after the operation as it transforms at any time from a support harness to an immobilization harness and vice versa.Linvention concerne un harnais pour un support thoracique à double action (immobilisation et support) à utiliser après une sternotomie/thoracotomie. Linvention comprend deux sangles de support principales (1) ayant différentes zones délasticité : une zone dimmobilisation (7), non élastique, et une zone de support constant (6), élastique, au milieu de la précédente non élastique, ajustable en termes dintensité de support thoracique par lintermédiaire dautocollants Velcro (5) qui peuvent être isolés par lintermédiaire de deux poignées (3), sur chaque sangle de support principale (1). Le harnais est positionné autour du thorax du patient et offre un support ajustable permanent dans des conditions normales. En cas de forte toux ou de mucosités, le patient immobilise entièrement son thorax par traction des poignées aux deux extrémités de la zone non élastique du harnais.
