PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like hair cosmetic without roughness or stickiness at the time of application, spreading well, without dripping off, having an excellent conditioning property for hair, a setting property and style-keeping performance required for creating a hairstyle, re-fixing the hair easily, and being excellent in storage stability.SOLUTION: A gel-like hair cosmetic includes: (A) polymer obtained by copolymerization of 35-50 mass% of a following monomer (a) and 50-65 mass% of a following monomer (b)； and (B) a thickner. (a) is a (meth) acrylate monomer represented by a general formula (I), wherein R1 is H or CH3, and R2 is a 1-8C alkyl group.
