PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information acquisition apparatus, an information acquisition method, etc. capable of highly accurately acquiring information about blood vessels.SOLUTION: The information acquisition apparatus includes first to fourth units 505. The first unit acquires a plurality of image data pieces including blood vessel-containing sites, each data piece captured on a different imaging condition. The second unit generates a plurality of difference image data pieces by processing differences between different image data pieces selected from among the plurality of image data pieces. The third unit acquires index data in regions of interest 540, 541, 542 set respectively in the plurality of image data pieces containing the plurality of difference image data pieces.
