CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for skin whitening contains Liriope platyphylla Wang et Tang seed extract. The cosmetic composition also contains anthocyanine colorant of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. In chemical formula 1, R1 is OH or OCH3； and R2 is H, OH, or OCH. The extract is isolated using water, low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms or mixture thereof. The composition is manufactured in the form of a skin, lotion, cream, essence, nutrition lotion, patch, or pack.
