PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article for a pet which prevents locking means from being exposed in a bent state of the absorbent article, and a package of the same.SOLUTION: In an absorbent article 10 for a pet including an absorbent chassis 11 and locking means 12 for detachably fastening the absorbent chassis, the absorbent chassis comprises an absorbent area 21 where an absorber 33 is located, a first non-absorbent area 22 extending from the absorbent area to a first end edge 13, and a second non-absorbent area 23 extending from the absorbent area to a second end edge 14. The locking means is arranged on an outer surface in the first non-absorbent area.
