PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector capable of protecting an aerial line from external physical influence and preventing damages caused by birds and adhesion of snow and to provide aerial line equipment using the same.SOLUTION: The aerial line protector 1 includes a base part 2, a projecting part 3 and an opening 4. The base part 2 is tubular and has an inner space 20. The inner space 20 penetrates the base part 2 in the axial direction A. The projecting part 3 projects from the inner surface 22 of the base part 2, and extends along the axial direction A. The opening 4 has a pair of opening ends 41 and 42 facing each other with a gap in-between, and a pair of opening ends 41 and 42 project toward the inter space 20 and extend over the whole length in the axial direction A. The aerial line equipment includes an aerial line 7 and the protector 1.
