FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to restorative medicine, balneology and physiotherapy, pediatrics, nephrology and can be used for rehabilitation of children with secondary chronic pyelonephritis, including obstructive variant of secondary chronic pyelonephritis with underlying vesicoureteral reflux. Amplipulse pelotherapy of kidney projection area is performed by transverse technique at mud temperature 38–39 °C. Forked anode is placed in the area of the renal projection, and the cathode – in the projection of the urinary bladder and lower one-third of the ureters. Using rectified mode, 3 and 4 type of operation, duration of exposure to each type of work for 4 or 5 minutes. Modulation frequency of 80 Hz and a modulation depth of 50 % are used. Force of current is brought to sensation of moderate painless vibration. Procedure is performed for 10 or 12 or 15 minutes depending on the patient's age. Therapeutic course includes 10 procedures every other day in turn with balneal procedures. Balneal procedures are prescribed in the form of sodium chloride baths with mineralization of 10–20 g/l and temperature of 36–37 °C, course of 10 procedures every second day.
