The present invention relates to a gel-type detergent composition for removing molds and odors, which can remove molds which are present in the bathroom, in the gaps between tiles, in sink drains, around the toilet, and on silicone around bathtubs and window frames, etc. The detergent composition of the present invention has excellent antifungal effects with respect to fungal pathogens and yeasts, including Aspergillus niger, Penicillium pinophilum, Chaetomium globosum, Gliocladium virens and Aureobasidium pullulans, and is effective against the major sources of unpleasant odors, including ammonia, amines, hydrogen sulfides and mercaptans. According to the present invention, the detergent composition comprises potassium hydroxide and a gel-type sodium hypochlorite which does not drip even on vertical surfaces due to the gel-forming capacity of a polymer material contained therein, and the stability of sodium hypochlorite with respect to light, heat and metal is improved.
