<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food material using Okinawan millet brandy distilled and squeezed lees, excellent in functionality and palatability, and suitably reducing odor of excrements of people and animals which ingest the food material, and to provide an apparatus for deodorizing the Okinawan millet brandy distilled and squeezed lees. <;P>;SOLUTION: This food material is obtained by making a first mixture by mixing the deodorized Okinawan millet brandy distilled and squeezed lees, corn, heated soybeans, meat bone powder, and Zenvitan F with a mixer, charging together a second mixture made by adding vitamin E to heated lard followed by dissolving, and a third mixture made by dissolving choline, zinc sulfate, calcium iodate, vitamin B<;SB>;12<;/SB>;and lactic acid bacterium powder in a mixture made by boiling chicken minced meat in about 1 L water followed by cooling to about 40°;C, into a mixer in which the first mixture is put, and mixing all of the mixtures. Furthermore, the rice cake-like mixture thus obtained is molded into pellets with a solid feed producing machine followed by drying at 60°;C for about 12 h using a forced-air drier. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
