PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule formulation containing nalfurafine hydrochloride in a stable state and a method for producing such a capsule formulation.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a capsule formulation produced by covering with a film a capsule content solution comprising nalfurafine hydrochloride, a substrate such as polyethylene glycol or propylene glycol, and a stabilizer. The stabilizer may be at least one selected from a group consisting of lidocaine as a local anesthetic, thioctic acid (α-lipoic acid) as a vitamin-like substance acting as a coenzyme, meglumine as an amino sugar derived from sorbitol, reduced glutathione known as a tripeptide antioxidant substance, a lauryl di-aminoethyl glycine sodium solution as an amphoteric surfactant, and L-methionine as a hydrophobic amino acid containing sulfur at the side chain, or among them, in particular, meglumine.
