PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing conjugated linoleic acid with a high acid value which can be used for food, nutritional supplementary food, feed and the like, and comprises less than 1.0% trans-trans fatty acid isomers on molar basis.SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: treating a composition comprising esters of linoleic acid such as safflower, sunflower, and corn oil with an alcoholate catalyst to produce a conjugated linoleic acid ester composition saponifying it with alkali to produce a conjugated fatty acid composition and treating it with a mild acid wash to produce a free conjugated fatty acid composition.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】食品、栄養補助食品、飼料等に使用できる酸価の高い、また、トランス-トランス型脂肪酸異性体をモル換算で1.0%未満しか含有しない共役リノール酸の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】ベニバナ油、ヒマワリ油、トウモロコシ油のようなリノール酸エステルを含む組成物をアルコラート触媒で処理して共役リノール酸エステル組成物を生成させた後、アルカリで鹸化し共役脂肪酸組成物を生成させ、その後、緩和酸(mild acid)洗浄により処理して遊離共役脂肪酸組成物を製造する。【選択図】なし
