PURPOSE: A method for artificial breeding of shellfish is provided to artificially breed shellfish with a high survival rate. CONSTITUTION: A method for artificial breeding of shellfish comprises a step of collecting eggs of Meretrix petechialis, putting artificially fertilized larva into sea water(20) of a sea water tank(10), and growing the larva； and a step of treating young shellfish with chemicals by putting the chemicals into the sea water of the seawater tank. The chemicals are selected from chlorine dioxide, sodium hypochlorite, or iodine.본 발명은 조개류인 말백합의 어린조개를 높은 생존율로 대량 사육하는 말백합 어린조개의 인공사육 방법에 관한 것으로 말백합으로부터 채취된 알을 인공수정시켜 해수조의 해수 속에서 어린조개로 성장시키고 상기 어린조개의 폐사방지를 위한 약욕처리하며 먹이를 투입하는 과정을 반복하여 씨조개로 인공사육하는 특징에 의하여 말백합의 어린조개를 이산화염소 처리하여 사육하므로 높은 생존율로 중간양성의 전 단계인 씨조개로 대량 인공사육한다.
