PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unexpected fall when adjusting the height of a pesticide spray rod fitted to a support frame so as to adjust a height position by easily and reliably lifting/lowering the pesticide spray rod of a cart type pesticide spray device to a target height position.SOLUTION: The cart type pesticide spray device includes: a position-fixed gear case 7 provided on a support frame 5 a lower slider and an upper slider 9 liftably/lowerably fitted to the support frame 5 a pinion 14 supported by the gear case 7 a rotation drive part 19 for rotating the pinion an engageable/disengageable latch claw preventing rotation of the pinion 14 a movable rack 20 that is vertically laid across between the lower slider and the upper slider so as to mesh the pinion 14 and a slide resistance application means 17 for applying slide resistance to the movable rack.
