The present disclosure relates to a method (40) and device (10) for detecting smoking gestures. A wrist-worn device (10) includes a gyroscope (18) and an accelerometer (20) which provide signals representing movement of a wearer's arm. A processor (16) within the device (10) receives signals from the gyroscope (18) and the accelerometer (18) and determines whether the signals represent movement that corresponds to the act of smoking. If so, the device (10) may issue an alert to the user.La présente invention concerne un procédé (40) et un dispositif (10) de détection de gestuelles de fumeur.
