Heat engine block, has spacer locally providing tightening of oil pan against casing cylinders, ensuring maintenance of filter cartridge and providing passage between oil filter cartridge and casing cylinders
The block has an oil pan (12) formed with casing cylinders. A cavity contains a crankshaft. A gear box is placed at one of faces in a support against the cylinders and the oil pan. A spacer (22) allows turning of the oil pan against the face of the support of the gear box, locally provides tightening of the oil pan against the casing cylinders, ensures maintenance of a filter cartridge and provides a passage between an oil filter cartridge and the casing cylinders, where the spacer includes a thread (26) co-operated with a thread (33) of the cylinders. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a heat engine block.
