PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sea squirt processed goods, having a saline taste which readily afford the mineral ingredients of sea water, while taking advantage of the taste and the flavor of sea squirts, by noticing the liquid taken out from the body of the sea squirt and discarded, at its processing, and to provide a manufacturing method for the sea squirt processed goods.
SOLUTION: The sea squirt processed goods are produced according to a method which includes a first step of keeping each of sea squirts taken from the sea, in a water tank containing purified sea water for a predetermined time, preferably, about 3-10 days a second step of taking out a first body fluid by cutting off the water-entry hole and water-exit hole of the sea squirt kept for the predetermined time and taking out a second body fluid from the inside of the soft-bodied part, when the sea squirt is cut open and then mixing this with the first body fluid and a third step of drying and powdering the mixture fluids.
