The present invention relates to compositions for the treatment of a malignant disease and in particular to compositions comprising an NF-κB inhibitor and a γ-glutamyltransferase (γ-GT) inhibitor and therapeutic uses thereof. The invention further relates to in vitromethods of testing putative anti-tumour agents for their potential to act as therapeutically effective anti- tumour agents in vivo. Embodiments of the invention have been particularly developed for bringing NF-κB inhibitors to the clinic such asto provide alternative therapeutic options in the treatment of malignant diseases and will be described hereinafter with reference to this application. However, it will be appreciated that the invention is not limited to this particular field of use.La présente invention concerne des compositions pour le traitement d'une maladie maligne et, en particulier, des compositions comprenant un inhibiteur de NF-κB et un inhibiteur de gamma-glutamyltransférase (γ-GT) et leurs utilisations thérapeutiques. La présente invention concerne en outre des procédés in vitro de test d'agents anti-tumoraux putatifs pour leur potentiel à agir en tant qu'agents antitumoraux thérapeutiquement efficaces in vivo. Des modes de réalisation de l'invention ont été particulièrement développés pour amener des inhibiteurs de NF-κB jusqu'aux applications cliniques de manière à fournir des options thérapeutiques alternatives dans le traitement de maladies malignes et seront décrits ci-après en référence à cette demande. Il est toutefois à noter que l'invention ne se limite pas à ce domaine d'application particulier.
