The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a mixture of a red ginseng extract and astaxanthin as an active ingredient for preventing and reducing skin wrinkles, and to a health functional food composition and a pharmaceutical composition comprising a mixture of a red ginseng extract and astaxanthin as an active ingredient for preventing aging. The composition comprising the mixture of a red ginseng extract and astaxanthin of the present invention is expected to have the excellent effects when being used as a wrinkle-reducing agent by significantly compensating an amount of collagen production reduced by ultraviolet irradiation in comparison with single treatment of a red ginseng extract or astaxanthin.본 발명은 홍삼 추출물과 아스타잔틴의 혼합물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 주름 예방 또는 개선용 화장료 조성물 및 홍삼 추출물과 아스타잔틴의 혼합물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 노화 방지용 건강기능성식품 조성물과 약학 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 홍삼 추출물과 아스타잔틴의 혼합물을 포함하는 조성물은 홍삼 추출물 또는 아스타잔틴을 단독으로 처리한 것에 비해 자외선 조사에 의해 감소된 콜라겐 생성량을 현저하게 회복시킴으로써 주름 개선제로 이용시 그 효과가 탁월할 것으로 기대된다.
