PURPOSE: A tool changer for a dental clinic milling device and a control method thereof are provided to facilitate the changing of tools or parts. CONSTITUTION: A tool changer for a dental clinic milling device comprises a spindle(4), a spindle unit(6), a control module(10), and a rotary plate member(12). In the spindle, a tool chuck member is formed on the end thereof. The spindle unit is equipped with a movable plate member capable of moving a body in various directions. The control module executes the processing of dental prosthesis and controls all the functions of the tool changer. The rotary plate member is equipped with a plurality of tool holders.본 발명은 스핀들을 몸체의 일측에 구비하고 스핀들의 공구척부재의 내부로 공압을 공급하여 공구를 착탈시키고 그 몸체의 일단부에 볼트결합되어 몸체전체를 다방향으로 유동가능하게 하는 유동판부재가 구비되는 스핀들유닛과； 상기 스핀들유닛의 유동판부재를 내부에 구비된 유동모터를 통해 구동하여 스핀들유닛을 다방향으로 이동되도록 제어하여 치아보철물의 가공을 실행시키고, 치아가공용 공구의 교체작업을 제어하는 제어모듈과； 상기 스핀들의 수직라인의 하부상에 위치하고 그 몸체전체가 회전하여 스핀들의 공구척부재에 결합된 공구를 수납함과 더불어 다른 공구로 즉시 교체되도록 다수개의 공구홀더가 상부에 설치되는 회전판부재를 포함하여 구성되는 치과용 밀링장비의 공구교환장치 및 그 제어방법을 제공한다.상기와 같은 본 발명은 회전판부재상에 볼결합이 가능한 공구홀더를 다수개 형성하여 다양한 치수를 갖는 다수의 공구를 배치하여 자동으로 공구를 교체하면서 치아보철물을 정밀가공할 수 있기때문에 사용자가 공구교체를 위해 별도의 공구를 셋팅해 줄 필요가 없으므로 그에 따라 치아보철물 가공공정의 편의성을 극대화시키는 효과가 있다.
