An outer shaft (30) defining a lumen extending therethrough is positioned annularly about the elongated tubular member (20). At least one of the outer shaft (30) and the elongated tubular member (20) is moveable with respect to the other between a substantially overlapping position wherein the elongated tubular member (20) is deformed to conform to the shape of the outer shaft (30), and a displaced position wherein at least a portion of the elongated tubular member (20) extends distally from a distal end (34) of the outer shaft (30). In the displaced position, the portion of the elongated tubular member (20) extending from the outer shaft (30) returns, or reforms back to the at-rest configuration.
