PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-mesothelin immunoconjugate that binds to mesothelin or mesothelin precursor polypeptide for use in a method for treating and/or diagnosing and/or monitoring a cancer, for example, solid tumors.SOLUTION: Provided is an immunoconjugate comprising a cytotoxic agent such as maytansinoid or a derivative thereof conjugated with a monoclonal antibody or a fragment thereof that binds mesothelin, which conjugate may be co-administered or formulated with one or more additional anticancer agents.
