摘 要:
The species composition of the Omoloy River is determined. Altogether, 28 species live in the river basin, belonging to 10 orders, 14 families, and 2 genera. Brief morpho-biological and ecologo-geographical characteristic offish is formulated. The hypothesis of formation of the ichthyofauna of the Omoloy River is discussed. The observed changes of climatic conditions in the Arctic regions expressed, in particular, as the increase of the volume of winter discharge of the Ob, Yenisey, and Lena by 165 km3 (Sergienko and Semiletov, 2006), may considerably modify the structure of bilological diversity of this region. Therefore, determination of the recent state of diversity of the freshwater fauna is especially urgent. However, there is still no information on some large water courses of the basins of the Laptev Sea (the Uele—313 km, the Chondoon— 606 km) and the East Siberian Sea (the Saan-Yurekh—303 km, the Sundrun—314 km, the Bolshoi Khomus-Yurekh—324 km, the Bolshaya Kuropa-tochnaya—391 km, the Chukochya—758 km). One of them is the Omoloy River flowing to the Laptev Sea. Until now, there were no data of its ichthyofauna, hence—the purpose of the present study.
