- Der Index der Grundstoffpreise (für die Zeit vor 1945: \u201EIndexziffern der Rohstoffpreise\u201C) wird in dieser Studie in Gütergruppen zusammenfassend dargestellt. Der vom Statistischen Bundesamt für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland berechnete Index der Grundstoffpreise misst die Entwicklung der Preise von Materialien, Hilfs- und Betriebsstoffen inl?ndischer und ausl?ndischer Herkunft, die vom Produzierenden Gewerbe des Inlands gekauft und verarbeitet bzw. verbraucht werden. Als Grundstoffe werden somit sog. Vorprodukte angesehen, und zwar sowohl Rohstoffe, die noch unbearbeitet oder aber aufbereitet bzw. nur geringfügig bearbeitet sind, als auch Zwischenprodukte wie Halbwaren und Fertigwaren - Vorerzeugnisse. Die Preisreihen werden in Form von Messzahlen auf der Grundlage des Preisstandes im Basisjahr (= 100) dargestellt. Der Index wird nach der sog. Laspeyres - Formel berechnet. Das bedeutet, dass die aus dem jeweils aktuellen Basisjahr stammenden W?gungszahlen bis zur Umstellung auf das n?chste Basisjahr unver?nderlich bleiben.
