- This study describes current manure production, handling, storage, and use utilizing data from the USDA Agricultural Resource Management Survey (ARMS). In addition, the report describes existing and emerging technologies that have the potential to increase the value of manure or reduce manure management costs.strongErrata:\/strong On August 18, 2023, barley acres planted data were corrected in table 2, which also impacted the acres of barley that were manured and the shares of manure-receiving crops data. No other data were affected.
