- The January 2018 outlook for both the U.S. and global rice markets is analyzed based on the latest projections contained in USDA's World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report.
Errata: On January 18, 2018, the Rice Outlook report was reposted to correct the sentence on page 5 (the last sentence before the subheading) that describes the medium- and short-grain ending stocks forecast. The correct description is “The 2017/18 medium- and short-grain ending stocks forecast was lowered 1.7 million cwt to 9.3 million cwt, down 19 percent from a year earlier.”
