A powder material intake passage extends from the inlet to the outlet. The device has a first valve for closing and opening the powder material intake passage and a gaseous medium intake device with an outlet for taking gaseous medium into the powder intake passage with a pressure higher than the second pressure. The outlet of the gaseous medium intake device is located in the powder material intake passage downstream from the first valve.
