PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve a rotary feeling of a fishing reel transmitted to a handle.SOLUTION: A drive gear 11 of a spinning reel 100 is engaged with a pinion gear 12. The drive gear 11 includes a gear body 11a, a plurality of drive gear teeth 11b and a waveform adjusting unit 16. The gear body 11a is provided in a drive shaft 10. The plurality of drive gear teeth 11b are provided at intervals in a circumferential direction at an outer peripheral side of the gear body 11a, and engaged with the pinion gear 12. A waveform adjusting unit 16 is provided in at least a portion of the plurality of drive gear teeth 11b, and performs adjustment so that a waveform WS of vibration generated in gearing becomes non-uniform.
