The invention relates to a dental cone indicator made of paper and to a dental strip to be used in dentistry in order to indicate the level of cleanliness inside the tooth canal and to a method of using them. The claimed dental cone is made of paper and can be a pH indicator or a chlorine level indicator, being impregnated with one or more indicating substances, but it can also be a double test or a triple test indicating simultaneously the pH level and the chlorine level, the cone being provided with coloured markings for various sizes. The claimed dental strip has dimensions ≤ 2 mm and a rectangular or trapezoidal shape and is impregnated with one or more indicating substances, the strip being able to indicate the pH level or the chlorine level, or it can be double test or triple test indicating simultaneously the pH and the chlorine level, the strip being provided with coloured markings for various sizes. The claimed method of use operates as follows: after the instrumentation of the endodontic space and its irrigation with sodium hypochlorite which is left to act for 2 ... 5 minutes, depending on the test, changes of the test colour begin to appear after 2 ... 3 minutes, then the rectangular strip is inserted into the hypochlorite in the pulp chamber or the cone/trapezoidal strip into the canal to subsequently notice the colour change during the test: if the test indicates a weakly alkaline pH or the absence of colour, it means that hypochlorite still acts and the canal should not be obturated, if the chlorine level test indicates a decrease in the amount of hypochlorite, the canal is further cleaned and subjected to temporization with calcium hydroxide and antibiotic, and if the test shows a strongly basic pH or the chlorine level does not change too much, the canal obturation can be performed.Invenţia se referă la un con dentar indicator din hârtie şi la un strip dentar utilizate în stomatologie pentru a indica nivelul de curăţenie din interiorul canalului unu
