The cannula includes at least one compartment to reduce airflow velocity and nostril inserts. The cannula may further include moldable components and materials to increase comfort and minimize chafing of a wearer. The cannula further may include a head strap to hold the mask in position on a users head, where said harness minimizes chafing of the user.
