Katétr je tvořen sheathem (2), ve kterém je umístěn shaft (5) s olivkou (6). Shaft (5) je na proximálním konci opatřen nasunutým spirálovým dílcem (4), který je k tomuto shaftu (5) jedním koncem uchycen a opačným koncem je tento spirálový dílec (4) nasunut a uchycen do pístku (3) nasunutém na shaftu (5). Pístek (3) je proveden pro nasunutí do sheathu (2). Spirálový dílec (4) má většinou po své délce různé stoupání spirály a shaft (5) je uvnitř pístku (3) dělený a jeho distální část (5b) je k tomuto pístku (3) připevněna. Shaft (5) je na distálním konci opatřen výztuhou (8), zakončenou catheter hubem (10) a na proximálním konci (5a) je opatřen fixačním kroužkem (7) pro zajištění olivky (6).The catheter consists of the sheath (2), in which there is located the shaft (5) with the olive (6). The shaft (5) is, at the proximal end, equipped with the helical element (4) which is fixed to this shaft (5) with one end and, with the opposite end, this helical element (4) is placed on and fitted into the piston (3) placed on the shaft (5). The piston (3) is designed for insertion into the sheath (2). The helical element (4) has mostly, along its length, different helix pitches and the shaft (5) is divided inside the piston (3) and its distal part (5b) is fixed to this piston (3). The shaft (5) is, at the distal end, provided with the stiffener (8) ending in the catheter hub (10) and, at the proximal end (5a), it is provided with the fixing ring (7) for securing the olive (6).
