PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antimicrobial water treatment material that suppresses multiplication of general bacteria and heterotrophic bacteria in clean water such as drinking water, circulating water, etc., and elutes just enough silver ions having a constant concentration so as to maintain antimicrobial effects for a long period of time and a water treatment method using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided the antimicrobial treatment material for water treatment that is a molded product composed of a resin composition containing 1-50 mass% of a silver-based inorganic antimicrobial agent and has a TOC value of 1-10 ppm after immersion in 1 L of water for a week.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明の課題は、飲料水や循環水などの清浄水に対し、一般細菌とともに従属栄養細菌の増殖を抑制することができ、しかも過不足ない一定濃度の銀イオンを溶出することにより、長期間抗菌効果が持続する抗菌水処理材およびそれを用いた水処理方法を提供することである。【解決手段】銀系無機抗菌剤を1~50質量%を含む樹脂組成物からなる成形体であり、1Lの水に1週間浸漬後のTOC値が1~10ppmである水処理用抗菌処理材を用いることが有効であることを見出し、本発明を完成させた。【選択図】図1
