The invention relates to a method and related device for targeting a region of interest of biological tissue of a patient, the region of interest being placed in a magnetic field, wherein the method includes: simultaneously acquiring a series of images of a region of interest of a patient using a medical imaging system, and a series of spatial distribution maps of the magnetic field in said region A) estimating, from the acquired images, the movement of said region quantifying the quality of the estimated movement, which includes the following sub-steps: B) modeling, from the estimated movement, maps of the distribution of the magnetic field and C) determining a criterion, based on the modeled and acquired distribution maps of the magnetic field, for quantifying the quality of the estimated movement.Linvention concerne un procédé et un dispositif associé de ciblage dune région dintérêt dun tissu biologique dun patient, la région dintérêt étant placée dans un champ magnétique, le procédé comprenant : • - une acquisition simultanée • o dune succession dimages dune région dintérêt du patient, au moyen dun système dimagerie médicale • o dune succession de cartographies de distribution spatiale du champ magnétique dans ladite région, • A) une estimation du mouvement de ladite région à partir des images acquises • - une quantification de la qualité du mouvement estimé comprenant les sous-étapes suivantes : • • B) la modélisation de cartographies de la distribution du champ magnétique à partir du mouvement estimé • C) la détermination dun critère, fondé sur les cartographies de distribution du champ magnétique modélisées et acquises, pour quantifier la qualité du mouvement estimé.
