EXTENDED DIAPHYSIS AND METAPHYSIS. The present object refers to a stretching device developed in metal or other similar materials, to correct bone deformities of limbs, through surgical stretching or opening at an angle of the compromised bone, in the regions of the metaphysis and diaphysis. The elongator is provided with two upper and lower component parts sliding on top of each other, which are fitted and fixed through serrated rails, secured by screws to the segments of the bone that was previously divided. The two main pieces fitted together allow the bone to be distracted or angulated, leaving it stable until the bone heals. The device offers greater precision and ease in the act of surgery, as it allows the opening of the bone according to the required angle or distance.ALONGADO DIAFISÁRIO E METAFISÁRIO. Refere-se o presente objeto a um dispositivo alongador desenvolvido em metal ou outros materiais similares, para corrigir deformidades ósseas de membros, através do alongamento cirúrgico ou da abertura em ãngulo do osso comprometido, nas regiões da metáfise e diáfise. O alongador é provido de duas peças componentes superior e inferior deslizantes uma sobre a outra, que são encaixadas e fixadas através de trilhos serrilhados, presas por parafusos aos segmentos do osso que foi dividido previamente. As duas peças principais encaixadas permitem a distração ou angulação do osso, deixando-o estável até que haja a cicatrização óssea. O disposistivo oferece maior precisão e facilidade no ato da cirurgia , pois permite a abertura do osso de acordo com o ãngulo ou distãncia necessários.
