The present invention discloses an anoectochilus spp. fermentation product, which can be served for reducing blood glucose, treating obesity or metabolic syndrome, treating fatty liver and treating diabetes, so that it can be coupled with carrier or excipient accepted by medicine to prepare a pharmaceutical composition, or it can be mixed with at least one food ingredient to form a food for preventing disease and maintaining health. The anoectochilus spp. fermentation product at least contains an anoectochilus glycoside. The manufacturing method of anoectochilus spp. fermentation product comprises a fermentation reaction of lactic acid bacteria with an anoectochilus culture medium to prepare a fermentation broth, from which anoectochilus spp. fermentation product is obtained.本發明所揭一種金線連發酵產物,其係能用以降低血糖、治療肥胖症或是代謝症候群、治療脂肪肝以及治療糖尿病,因而得與醫藥所能接受之載體或賦形劑而製備成為一醫藥組合物,或得與至少一食品組成份混合形成用以預防疾病及維持健康之食品。
