PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for a flying insect pest catcher having a chemical holder with excellent wetting properties, excellent in the durability of the wet state, and exhibiting a high attraction effect and efficiency in catching on flying insect pests, particularly fruits flies, for a long period of time and a highly convenient flying insect pest catcher using the same.SOLUTION: The flying insect pest catcher carrier is a non-woven fabric carrier to which liquid-absorbent polymer is added. The flying insect pest catcher carrier can hold a liquid chemical composition whose bulk density is 0.1-0.3 and which contains an insecticidal component and an insect attracting component.
