PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can reduce shade, somberness, swelling or the like generated around an eye.SOLUTION: The device 1 to improve the flesh color around the eye applies the heat accompanied by steam which is generated by utilizing the oxidation reaction of an oxidizable metal to the periphery of the eye. The device 1 has a steam generating section 6 having an area of 1,500-4,000 mm2 which can transfer the heat accompanied by the steam. The steam generating section 6 has the width from the medial angle of the eye to the outside of 20 mm from the lateral angle of the eye of the user, and has a shape to cover the upper eyelid and the lower eyelid of the closed eye. Also, it has a steam generating capacity to keep the average skin temperature of a contact section at 38°C or higher and lower than 45°C for 8-15 minutes in the condition that the device 1 comes in contact with the periphery of the eye of the user.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】目周囲に生じたくまやくすみ、むくみ等を低減し得る器具を提供すること。【解決手段】被酸化性金属の酸化反応を利用して発生する、水蒸気を伴う熱を目周囲に適用する目周囲の肌色改善器具1である。該器具1は、水蒸気を伴う熱を付与し得る、面積1500~4000mm2の水蒸気発生部6を有している。水蒸気発生部1は、使用者の内眼角から外眼角の外側20mmまでの幅にわたり且つ閉眼状態の上眼瞼及び下眼瞼を覆うような形状を有している。更に前記器具1を使用者の目周囲に当接させた状態下で、8~15分間にわたり当接部位の皮膚平均温度を38℃以上45℃未満に維持し得る水蒸気発生能を有している。【選択図】図2
