PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gardening clipper device of a small size and a light weight that has a good weight balance when held by one hand, and is excellent in operability according to a direction of reaping.SOLUTION: A gardening clipper device 1 includes a reaping blade part 30 of a single-edged structure and a housing 2 having a short-length, hollow and slightly-thick bar shape. The reaping blade part 30 is formed in a manner projecting from the front end of the housing 2 toward the forward direction. A motor is arranged in a backward portion of a midway-length part 2c placed in a position close to the front end of the housing 2.
