PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer in which a flexible tube absorbs noises accompanying with an operation of each part and makes the noises not go into a microphone, and which thereby detects Korotkoff sounds and can correctly perform blood pressure measuring.SOLUTION: The sphygmomanometer 1 includes: an arm band section 2 which is mounted at an upper arm T of a person to be measured a pressurizing unit 110 which pressurizes the inside of the arm band section 2 a control unit 120 a pressure sensor 140 which detects pressure in the inside of the arm band section 2 pressure reducing unit 111, 112 which decompress pressure in the inside of the arm band section 2 and a display unit 63 which displays a measured blood pressure value. The sphygmomanometer receives a pressure signal from the pressure sensor 140, controls the pressurizing unit and the pressure reducing unit by the control unit 120, detects Korotkoff sounds, and measures blood pressure.
