PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of performing the housing of potted plants, safe distribution or cultivation in a greenhouse. SOLUTION: This container is a housing unit prepared by freely detachably laminating a framelike upper chamber 3 through a pressing plate 2 on a box- shaped lower chamber 1. The lower chamber 1 has at least one fixing hole 6 for each flowerpot in the bottom plate and a water storage part is formed under each fixing hole 6 for the flowerpot. The pressing plate 2 has bored holes 11 capable of passing potted plants 19a, 19b and 19c in the lower chamber 1 upwardly therethrough in the central part and the bored holes 11 are formed so as to bring the peripheral parts of the bored holes 11 into contact with the top edges of the flowerpots and prevent the floating of the flowerpots. Furthermore, a light transmitting lid 15 is freely detachably mounted on the top of the peripheral wall in the upper chamber 3.
