The system comprises an ablation catheter (1) having an ablation arm for which ablation energy is supplied, and a rinsing channel opening on rinsing opening. An ablation generator supplies energy to the ablation area in the form of high-frequency voltage, and a refrigerant. A rinsing liquid source supplies the rinsing liquid through the rinsing channel to the rinsing opening. A blood pressure measurement device in fluid communication with the rinsing channel of the ablation catheter detects the intracardiac blood pressure through rinsing liquid situated within the rinsing channel.
