A tooth having a specific cell location is obtained by bringing a first cell mass,which substantially comprises one of mesenchymal cells and epithelial cells,into contact with a second cell mass, which substantially comprises the othercells, within a support capable of maintaining these cell masses in the stateof being in contact with each other and then culturing them. In a preferred embodiment,the support having individual cell masses therein is further cultured with renalcells , after the completion of the culture.
