#$%^&*AU2015101145A420151001.pdf#####Abstract A relaxation and illumination device and method for the stimulation of visual perception and for inducing entrainment of human brain waves in a subject, by illuminating the eyes of a user with light of varying color and varying intensity, particularly in association with music or other sounds provided to the user. Different "Light Scape Sequences" can be applied to the subjects eyes, the sequences are freely programmable and controlled by utilising commonly available music and MIDI recording software and by using the relaxation device as a MIDI controllable unit. The device is conceived to work in conjunction with various computing devices such as Laptops, Tablets, Phones and so forth, but can also operate as a stand alone unit, once the MIDI sequences have been uploaded to the device. Light Scape sequences, once created by utility software can then be stored in a MIDI file and later the MIDI file containing the MIDI command sequences can be play back to recreate the desired light scape, synchronised to a suitable audio event if so desired.
